About Troy
Troy Conrad is an internationally touring comedian, writer, actor, producer, and former college teacher who has dedicated his life’s work to exposing the hypocrisy of religion through comedy. A writer for The Jay Mohr Roast on NBC, he trained and performs at The Second City Los Angeles Conservatory, Improv Olympic West, and Upright Citizen’s Brigade Theatre. In 2004, Conrad started the production company, Creative Mindworks, producing rational-based entertainment.
A regular guest on Comedy Nation and writer for The Big News Show, Troy appears in the upcoming Paul Provenza book, “Satiristas” alongside Bill Maher, Steven Colbert, Jon Stuart, and George Carlin.

His DVD, Comedy Jesus Live, has just been released, and a feature film about his experiences as Jesus will debut in late 2008. He also takes on the role of George W. Bush in Contrition, where Bush gives an honest, impromptu, press conference confession. The show was produced by Emmy Award winner Rick Overton at the Comedy Central Stage in Los Angeles. Troy lives in Los Angeles with his wife and orange dog.
